wire Distributor
I have a 1980 911 SC that I need to replace the distributor wire from the distributor to the CDI box . I ordered a new one and it came much shorter with a fitting conector on one end. Mine runs all the way from the distrubutor to the CDI box . Is there another wire that I need to order to run from the connector to the CDI box? If so what is the part number. This new wire will not run to the CDI box
Thanks |

The replacement for the CDI green wire requires you to cut the existing green wire and install a timer Jr. connector to plug the new one into.
The method for doing it has been posted many times. Search "green wire repair". Eagle day sells a kit for the connector with terminals and the boot. 2-Pole Female AMP Connector Or, I can send you the same thing for $12 shipped. PM me. Last edited by timmy2; 05-17-2014 at 12:27 PM.. |
