Water under seat after car wash

After a car wash I get water under the passenger seat only on my 2005 911 Cabriolet. I am pretty sure it is not from the roof or windows as neither the seat nor the carpets are wet. Is there some sort of duct that might be channeling the water? Any advice appreciated.

Well on the 3.2 the windshield washer sprayers if the seal is loose or gone it will leak into the cab.

Pull the carpet and see if you can see residue on the foot boards.

Porsche Crest

Did they still make a 3.2 in 2005?

The drain for your fresh air intake for HVAC system is clogged. The water gets in at the cowl by the windshield.

Check your owners manual to see if it covers replacement of the cabin air filter. This will get you to the location of the box. The drain can likely be cleared with compressed air.

Not an uncommon problem.

Or, you could have what I did where a previous owner mounted an amp under the passenger seat and when it was removed, the holes weren't filled and when the under carriage jets come on you get water on the passenger side floor. You'd be amazed how much water two small holes in the floor will let in.
