rear wheel hub question
does the rear wheel hub and inner hub that connects to the cv joint get painted, plated or left uncoated on a 1972T

Everyone I have seen has been painted black on all the cast surfaces or was once painted black, but the machined surfaces are left unpainted (eg the side that the wheel mates against, where the CV bolts up etc .)
