Hej Soren,

Can't help you with paint. Went to your garage... Beautiful '69e. Recently recovered my dash. Am curious about your dash project. Do you mind speaking about it here? If not... I understand staying on topic with your paint question.

Thanks guys...

Regarding the 911e it had to go ... It was a huge restore. The dash was suffering from the typical cracks ... What i did to it was to glue it up with pieces of metal to keep it together in the deepest cracks. I deleted the speakerhole and used GF putty to make it smooth. All this was done while dash was still in car. When it dried up I removed it and glued on some new vinyl. Dont go to cheap here... And make sure the glue can resist heat since it does get really hot in summertime. Otherwise a heat gun with coution and lots of patience should get you there.

The silver 74 is my new toy...:-)

You took E down to the bone--that is huge project. I would have considered buying that project were I able to look at car.
