I am in need of changing the bushings on the two a-frames of my '76. I cannot find any tech articles and my hayes manual doesn't cover it. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get the bushings off? I already have the arms off the car. Thanks

Duane:
Do a search on this on this board. You should be able to find plenty about it. If I remember correctly, when I took mine off quite some time ago, I had to use WD-40, pullers, a hammer & utility knife to get mine off. Of course they'd been on there for almost 30 years. ------------------ Marv Evans '72 911E |

I used a drill to take out some of the rubber bushing. After you weaken the bushing, the just come right off with a little WD-40. Be carefull not to touch the metal with the drill. Took me about 20 minutes to remove all 4 bushings. Good luck!
