Oil line question
Hello, seeking input on running soft oil lines, pros/cons. Currently, my '79SC has crushed hard lines from the thermostat up to trombone cooler. I will be adding a fender mounted cooler (Mocal/other?) this summer and can't find any pros/cons or issues with running soft lines, thought would post question here? Thanks for any suggestions. I have read the "$5 dollars and a beer" method to fix the hard lines which I might just go ahead and try if consensus is don't go with soft lines. Thanks, Bryce

Try fixing the hard lines first. It works. They also help to cool the oil as it travels to the cooler.

bcoats,
I removed my crushed hard lines.....took them to a local shop. They heated them up and used a flange to get them round again. I cleaned them out well using solvents and hot water. I think I paid the shop $25 to do the work. I'd definitely go that route first. Just my .02
