Dead windshield washer nozzle culprit: Check valve (not the nozzle or T-fitting)
Driver's side washer nozzle wasn't working. Passenger side works fine.
So, it's either a clogged nozzle jet, tee-fitting, or check valve. $3 flush cutters worked well to remove the Oetiker clamps. I took everything apart and blew through the parts, and it was the 2 check valves (91462843300) No need to buy a new t-fitting (91162861700) or nozzle (94462807700) if you can blow through them. I need 9 replacement clamps, but Pelican sells em for $5/ea. Hose is about 9mm (3/8") OD These are not pressurized fuel lines, so I'll just get worm gear clamps Here's a 10 pack for $3 that covers 5mm-15mm ![]() ![]() Last edited by sugarwood; 06-01-2014 at 03:13 PM.. |
