h4 lens replacement question
Hello,
Replacing some scratched up lenses. I got the lenses, and one seal part number 91163111502. That seal appears to fit on the fender, behind the h4 assembly, and seals the bucket from rain. True or false? There is another seal, part number 911 631 967-00, that appears to fit inside the assembly, and helps secure and seal the lens from inside. True or false? Reference parts diagram below courtesy of dcautomotive parts number 2 and 3:

One is for the decorative trim (2) and the other glass to assembly (3). I would remove to see the condition of both, just keep a good record of dis-assembly.

I was taking it apart and the lens wouldn't come out easily. So, will replace both in both lights. Thanks. |
