Well I received the tool as promised yesterday (overnighted). It was a little lighter weight than I would have made it, by I always overbuild stuff. There is a definite top and bottom to it also. When installed on the ring nut properly it hangs below the level of the slots to better guide the tool and prevent slippage.
It worked like a charm to re-tighten the ring nut that had come loose. A little locktite and 90 ft-lbs should do it.
The right side nut didn't come loose, but I wanted to loosen, clean, apply locktite and retorque just to be sure. I tried the tool, but couldn't get it off. I didn't want to press it to hard since the tool has a "Max torque 140 Nm" stamped on it. I think some other means would definitely be reqd to get it off had I decided it wasn't OK to leave it as is.
