A/F meter in dash clock position

Have any of you installed a 2 1/16" diameter A/F meter in the clock space? If so, what did you use to adapt the smaller gauge to the dash space?

Thanks

The clock lens. I whittled a hole in a busted clock, painted lens black, and mounted WBO2 to it.

Look at this as a start.

It will wet your appetite.

Our host sells a plastic plug for the gauge (delete plug). I got one and hole sawed approximate diameter. Looks pretty good.

I have used the plastic clock plug that Pelican sells. It is a very nice machined piece.

I just finished the install using the Daytona-Sensors WEGO IV unit. This one is all self contained and you can download data from the front panel USB connector.

I have also built in a digital readout above it that is a clock, volt meter, and temperature gauge. I will post photos tomorrow.

If I'd known Pelican had the plug, I wouldn't have mutilated a clock. :(

Tippy, if you saw the price of the plug your mangled clock solution might look more attractive.

I used a PVC pipe cap. It was a while ago, but it must have been a 75mm pipe cap with an OD of 80mm because it fitted in just right. Drilled and filed a hole for the gauge and glued some vinyl on.
$0.50 :)

I like your style, Bill. Mine is for a 911 style (Getty) dash in a 914 and this fits the 'bill' nicely.

Thanks all.

Here is my setup with a Daytona-Sensors WEGO IV [sold by our hosts PP] The plug is also sold by our hosts.

You can download data from the mini USB port on the front and the unit is completely self-contained with no additional boxes.....just a wire to the wideband sensor.

The upper digital readout is a combination digital clock, voltmeter, temperature gauge. You can toggle through with the right spring loaded toggle switch, or you can set it for 5 seconds on each function.

This way you keep your clock, get AFR and voltage and temp.

The left toggle is for switching from oil cooler temp to outside air temp.

I gutted an old gauge and used some PVC pipe to make a mount inside. [/LIST]http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1402207410.jpg

THAT IS WHAT I started with. Well made machined plastic

Why are all the gauges so small? Doesn't anyone just make a larger air/fuel gauge?

There other displays are bit larger than a 2-1/16 round gauge
