Anyone know of fender liners?
Seems to me fender liners, especially on passenger side, would help keep a lot of crud out. Might inhibit some of the cooling, but most modern cars seem to use them. Does anyone know of a source?

That type of thing is common for other cars in the UK. Might post a question on impact bumpers.com

If its such an old subject to you, give us a hint, 'somewhere on the continent' is not exactly definitive. The liner usually clips between the fender rim and the inner fender, wrapping round the wheel arch so that crud from the road does not get a chance to fly into the wheel wells and onto oil cooler lines and radio antenna housing at front or oil tank wiring at back. Getting the dirt off them after it has dried on is a lot harder than just a quick hose down of the liner.

One of the guys (Fishy Dave) on the Impact Bumper forum has just had a batch of arch liners made, since the original supplier (SVP) in the UK stopped making them.
The liners were made from the original SVP templates and attach using cable ties only. The originals received rave reviews being much easier to fit than the Lokari ones. They are made from a tough plastic and are shaped for narrow body cars with SC /3.2 flares. They may fit early cars but not turbos. Thread is here Group Buy SVP Arch Liners - Bodywork - Impact Bumpers |

Thanks Jonny H and fanuadical, two good leads!
I'm surprised no one makes them in USA. Or maybe I need to surf the Web harder. I'll let you know if I find something local.

Perhaps contact FishyDave through the impact bumpers forum. He could probably email the files for the CNC cutter (they are water cut from 2mm plastic). You could then get them cut Stateside.
