Thanks Wayne for closing the post.
Perhaps as many as 20,000 Americans (including over 200 of my fellow Firefighters) have just been killed because of a cowardly terrorist attack, unlike anything this world has ever seen. What are some people on this board doing, acting like children, each trying to prove "his" point. Seems really trivial, considering what the families of these victims are going through.......let's agree to disagree and spend our time praying for those directly affected by this insanity. ------------------ Bill Carcot 1979 911SC Diablo Region, P.C.A. |

I have been a big supporter of Wayne's little World here and his tendency to permit a very wide range of remarks. Thanks again, Wayne. I also am very grateful for this community of people as an emotional resource fo rme in a time like this. Thank you Wayne, and thank you members/friends. But I think there is a proper limit to what should be permitted here, and I support Wayne's decision to close that dark thread.
And yes, there is no question in my mind that I have forged friendships on this Board. No question whatsoever. ------------------ '83 SC |

Close a dark thread? Yeah, some have said some pretty nasty things...but I kind of viewed it all as a way to let people vent...a way to blow off frustrations. The Porsche brotherhood is dead, some say. I was an only child, but 3 brothers lived across the street. They'd routinely try to beat the living hell out of each other. But if I wanted to beat on any of them? I'd better get ready to beat on all three, at once. I sure hope that's what we've been going through...beating on a brother, while still united against the outside....
