Help me identify this pipe 84 3.2 RHD

Hi all, Was wondering if anyone can tell me if this pipe appears factory or not. It appears to be only on rhd cars and runs from the bottom drain pipe on the fresh air box to take water out the bottom of the car. Most later model 3.2s and late 83 sc's that I have seen just seem to run a rubber hose from the fresh air box through the cabin and out the car. My car has this pipe which looks oem but Im not 100% sure. I have seen it on another 85 carrera rhd australian delivered car as well. I suspected it was oem but have only seen it on my car and one other 3.2.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Probably has to do with pedal cluster on the RHD because I recall the plastic tubing goes through forward of your pedal cluster on LHD cars

I have the part number for that tube listed as 901.571.064.20.
From my listing it shows RHD up to -'71, the '72- lists the rubber hose (911.571.224.00).
Weird thing I found is my '84-'86 parts list shows either the hose or the tube for RHD not sure if this was in conjunction with another option.
