What's this connector for??
What's this 3-wire (brown, gray, black/yellow) connector for?? Located in the engine compartment, passenger side by oil tank, 1987 930. The wiring harness on that side has the the tail lights, AC, oil level sender and this misc connector. I can't seem to find it on the wiring schematic.
Thanks!!! ![]()

Decklid light I believe.
In mine there is a small clamp on the inside fwd of the oil tank - he mating connector worked its way up the decklid hinge.

Also for a 3rd brake light if you have one. Gray is for engine compartment light, black/yellow is the brake light and brown is the ground connection for the two. On mine the two grounds are connected via a Y-connection into one common wire that runs to the plug.
