Try Black Forest Racing in Denver, NC. He's a little over an hour from there. Probably your next closest choice and a very knowledgable guy. Ask for John or Lou. 704-966-0898

You could try in Hickory, NC. Would be about 30 minutes closer to Asheville than Denver, NC. I forget the name of the new shop, but Matt Drendel and the guy that takes care of his cars have opened up a shop.

Also, I think Hickory Porsche has now reopened.

Glad to hear this shop has a good reputation. Our daugher and son-in-law live one block from this shop and we visit Asheville often. Have seen shop and wondered about their reputation. Son-in-law states that he sees older 911 in the lot all the time.

I assume you've already made your mind up at this point, but in case you haven't...Any of the above should be able to help you with something like a PPI.

If you don't mind driving a little distance (Hickory, NC), come visit us...We'll give it a good look and make sure you're not buying a dud.

Good luck!
