Runaway clock
So... It seems when I leave my triple black 1984 stock, non turbo, 3.2L targa parked in the hot sun without the top, the clock speeds up... Several times the past couple weeks, after leaving in a parking lot, I've come back after an hour, and the clock is running 30-45 minutes fast. After I get her moving and cooled down a bit, the clock returns to earth.
Perhaps unrelated... Perhaps not. I have also noticed when the ambient temp is high, and the car has sat in the sun, the cruise won't hold speed, but loses about 5 mph over about 5 miles (set at 75mph). Cruise seems to work ok in the morning, or when cooler outside, or when asked to hold at 60mph or less. Thoughts from the group? |
