Size/fit issue with Bilstein Sports at rear

Car is a 74 911, lowered a bit, couple degrees of negative camber. 26mm rear torsion bars and Tarett rear arb.
Recently changed from Bilstein HDs to Sports at the rear. Chasing a scraping sound there, I finally noticed the Sports are rubbing on both the heat exchanger and the cross engine oil line... in the fairly small space they pass thru. I know the Sports are shorter than the HDs, but are they fatter?
Adding a washer to the lower shock mount (to move the shock inward) and filing maybe 0.5 mm off the shock housing didn't help. Other than beating on the heat exchanger, any other fitting tricks available?

I have Bilstein sports at the rear of my '74 and I don't have any fitment issues. I have SSI exchangers.

You might jot down the part number to be certain you have the correct shock. When I switched to Bilstein, I don't recall the shocks being any shorter than my old shocks which were Koni reds.

Thanks, have correct shock. Haven't myself measured the HD and the Sport so am not sure my size information is correct, though lots of people here seem to think so. But regardless, the darn thing doesn't fit correctly. My problem I believe is that the oil crossover line is not quite where it should be. I guess I'm going to have to see if it can be slightly 'relocated' without causing an even bigger problem.

I'm not an expert on the subject but I do know that there is a special oil crossover pipe that is used for SSI's. This was already installed on my car so I don't have any experience knowing what the old looked like.

Yes I think I have that, though I don't have SSI's. My crossover is not stock. Saw your engine drop post. Good work. You're going to love the PMO's.
