Remedy for P202 Cam tool

I got a 46mm crows foot...but the P202 porsche cam tool...anyone have a remedy for this? I see that a 17mm wrench fits quite nicely but didn't want to proceed if it will damage the cam or if someone has a better idea. Unless the P202 is simply the only option here.

Not sure you need the cam tool. Around 81 there was some mods that did not require the tool.

Do you have an engine rebuilding book? Wayne's or from The Bruce?

A 17 mm open end across the flats has always worked for me.

I think Bruce is correct. Although, he is not The Bruce. That is Bruce Anderson. RIP. Author of 911 Performance Handbook.

In short, go for it.
