Need shop in So Cal to reassemble early 911
Hey all. My '72 911T shell is about done with paint. It's in pieces and basically it's ready to be reassembled and just looking for the right shop in the L.A. area to do it. I don't have the engine yet, supposedly someone is building that for me (but if this particular person could do that too, I would consider it.) Just need someone to start making this look like a car again, putting everything back together in the right order. Someone that appreciates the quality of these cars and doesn't mind restoration, and also who knows a '72 T (with AC and sunroof) in their sleep. Either small or large shop is fine, as long as they're respectable and don't see this as an hourly billing churn. Thanks!

Scott's Independent in Anaheim comes to mind.
High quality expert shop. You will pay for what you get. I have worked with Scott and Dan on a handful of projects. I am also a client. They know their stuff! Not uncommon to find more than one '73 RS or 904 in for service or restoration. Worth a call to see about getting on their schedule. Likely a wait. Cooper |
