I'm looking for a Stoddard caliper adapter for early 911 struts...

Does anyone have a set of the caliper adapters made by Stoddard that allows the mounting of 3.5" calipers to 3" bolt-spaced struts on the front of an early 911? Let me know!!! Thanks a lot

The only time I ever saw one of these was in an old Stoddards catalog. It could probably easily made though.

There are at least a couple of other ideas in vogue to put larger front brakes on a narrow (3") eared front strut. One is to slightly modify a Boxter monoblock caliper and the other is to use a BMW Caliper. I understand that there are minor modifications to the parts in question. Good luck, David Duffield |

Don't know about regular 3.5" brakes, but these guys have an adapter for the 3.0" mounting that let you use Big Reds.
