Oh yes, one more. Who said 911's don't have proper hoods?

That 914's wing is kindof extreme, and that 301 car seems to have an extreme wing too, I wonder when hes going to finish painting that car, last time I saw it it was in gel-coat.
That 21 car is awesome!! Did Mike win? he usually places very high

Crazy, yes. But on a track, they're also effective. A week from Wednesday, I'm going to be trying out a 3.8RS wing like those pictured, along with my Junkyard-Wars front chin splitter.
I wouldn't drive with either on the street, but it can make a big difference in high speed sweepers.

Too big to fail

I did an auto-x today, and I really wished I'd taken the time to install the wing.

Not sure if you see speeds in an auto-x where a wing will give a significant advantage. I have an RSR front splitter and a ducktail on my car. Which are plenty since I have it geared for about 140 tops

Tim - I've seen that Bodymotion car before as well and agree it turns some quick laps. Today was just practice followed by more practice tomorrow morning and then the race tomorrow afternoon.

Bavaro's tiger car is for sale last I heard. Underneath, it's a CUT UP SC! Fitting and appropriate.

All those wings looked pretty cool from my position working Turn 2.

Hey Jim:
Did you happen to see Doug's tail followed by a black tailess wonder during the Charity laps

Marc, Doug, sorry I missed you guys! When it was time for lunch or dinner break, our "outpost" at Turn 2 made a beeline for the free food in the paddock area.
From where we were positioned, we got to see lots of cars loosing it at Turn 1 after going flat out up the straightaway. No serious problems at our station, just a blown 930 engine on Saturday, a little oil on the track (I believe from the car shown below - paddock photo - check the windshield!) and a 944 engine died during todays racing. BTW - That car was doing real well before the problem developed. Marc, run group 2 was won by a '77 911 - it was simply amazing. No one was even close. Now, all you need to do is convene the local Pelican-heads over at your house and we can start the GT4R conversion process on your '77. Muhahahaha! Here's a couple of cars I liked in the paddock:
