BBS E50 will they fit?
Picked up a set of dirty old BBS E50 magnesium race wheels, with bad paint. They're 8+9X16, front inner halve 4.75 & rear inner halve 4.5. Seller did not know if they would fit a 911SC. Does anyone know if they'll fit? I'd like to have the centers painted, to the original gold. These use regular lug nuts. I will be running a set of billet center caps, which IMO look better than the originals.

I "think" 3.5" is the common back spacing for SC's Best way is to check them on the car

Question!
Were these the rims that came off of the black 72 down in Costa Mesa? If so I have pictures of how they fit that car! Those were getting sold, because the Owner was returning to Fuchs!

those look to be the original lips & barrels - just check the offset on the back
of the wheel face and you will know.... look for et23ish up front and et 16ish for the rears

Dan J I'll have to find a car, to test fit them on and figure out tire sizes. Floridabmx don't you have a nice set for sale? TCRacing, I don't know the car these came off of, I'd like to see the pic regardless. Candela, I'll check, but I think the ET is on the front. Thanks for replys, pm's & emails.

I did. A 5x108 set. Just sold em. My 5x130 centers are still for sale. Weird obsession acquiring wheels! Just measure the width (inside bead to inside bead) then measure the back spacing (from back of mounting surface to end of barrel) and give me the measurements. I'll calculate offset for ya. |

floridabmx,
The wheels are in storage, I'll get the backspacing measurement soon, Thanks for the offer, to calculate the offset. I measured the width, inside bead to inside bead. I really don't have the skills, patience or time, to restore these. Maybe this will be my winter project. Here's a pic from a guy that restored his own wheels, IMO he did an excellent job. Bill, I was going to pm you about for your expert advice. Thanks Thanks

Recent get together, a friend made a comment about these wheels. He said I was living in the past, I agreed. I just sent him these pics, I found searching the net. Guess they're not for everyone, but I like them.

Bbs e50 > any other wheel. Only thing I could think of that would be better is some ronal racings.

floridabmx,
I like the Ronal racing wheels almost as much, like the ones you had posted for sale. Here's another pic posted by a Pelican.
