Thumbs up 911 CV axles

I have a 1976 911S with a 915/71 transmission in it. I am working on this car for a friend and am trying to replace the CV axles after one of them broke off while driving. From what i have read the car is supposed to have the 100mm cv's with 6 8mm bolts? The car has the 108mm cv's with 4 10mm bolts and 2 roll pins. I have done a bunch of searches and am still not completely sure which parts to order. thanks for any help you might be able to offer!

Simba... I replaced my CV's on an '80 trans with host parts and thought the spec'd 8 x 50mm bolts were too short. I cannot tell you what the dimensions of my purchased CVs are at the moment. With the spec bolts, there were a few unused threads in the flanges. I went to 8 x 55mm class 12.9 bolts with lock washers and these consumed all the threads. No moon plates. I'll get under the car and measure the CVs if needed.

4 bolt are 10mm grade 12 and 48 mm. 50 are too long they will cut into your banana arm. Do not reuse the originals. There is a very long thread on this on this site, that you must read,

No - the 100mm CVs came out with the 77/78 SC models.
You have the better larger 108mm CVs which came before & after the SC.
Get a 108mm Kit from our sponsor.

I am curious - was it an inner or outer(wheel) CV that broke? When it broke , did it do any other damage?
