New addition to the family!
Well after longing after a 911 since I was a kid, I finally pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier!
I had been looking around the LA/OC area for a couple of months and not really finding anything and then low and behold, this one pops up on the forum classifieds. I called the PO and had a good talk with him and arranged a PPI the next day. About a week later I was on a plane for Denver to pick her up. 15 hours later she was back home in LA. The PO had basically done everything I wanted to do to whichever car I bought so that was an added bonus! He put RS front & rear bumpers, RS door cards and full RS interior in along with a new Prototipo wheel. He'd also completely sorted out any maintenance issues (hoses/belts/fluids/etc) along with new suspension and brakes among other things. She drove like a dream all the way home. Only issue I had was after stopping for fuel 4 hours in, I went to restart the car and nothing! It had power to everything but starter didn't even make a sound. Got it bump started and just left it running the next couple of times I fueled up. When I got home I shut it off and tried to restart it but still nothing....came out the next morning and she fired right up! Some sort of hot start issue I supposed after running that long. I'm sorting out the little things that are left to do but she's basically ready to roll. Can't wait to get her up in the canyons for a little run! Enough talk....time to drive! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow....Now it just needs some Sparco seats.

Beatiful ride! Time to change to a high torque mini starter, no more hot start problems.

Nice car! The bumpers look good on there.
I had the same issue with my SC after driving 6 hours on a hot day. I ended up putting in a hot start relay kit (you can find them here) and haven't had trouble since. Of course, its one of those things were you don't really know if it worked.
