1983 911 SC engine fan - Options ?
Just one last call ... After reviewing the forums it sounds like I have to buy a new 911 engine fan 930-106-012-00-M100 since mine is not repairable? See pictures.
I am not excited to spend $500, however that seems to be my only option? Thoughts ? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You can do a Carrera fan too. Carrera has extra slots for air cooling the alternator.

The vertex stuff is aluminum and will not go to seed like the mag stuff from the factory. Have it installed on the Carrera, fan and housing. Even in its raw state it looks better than mag.

Aluminum fan & housing
How is the machine work on the fan & housing? I have read that there were some quality issues with some of the earlier versions, but that the quality in the later versions is better.
Please report back after they are installed & run, I'm interested in the fit & balance of the aluminum pieces. Thanks |

The Vertex fan looks fantastic... However the site indicates it will not fit my 1983 911 SC ?
Is this is misprint on the website ? |
