cylinder baffles

I need some help in finding out how the cylinder baffles go on my engine . I am in the process of rebuilding the engine in my 1980 SC and have got to the place where I am installing my engine baffles. My baffles have been modified with the cut out for better cooling. My question is this? Do the cut out that has been cut in the baffles go the the top are bottom. By top I mean towards the cylinder head or does the cut out go to the bottom towards the case I would like to see a picture or something that shows which was they go.
Thanks for the help in advance

Pelican Technical Article: Rebuilding Your Engine - 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89)

Here is a link to an engine rebuild, tech article. Scroll down to figure 7. There is a good pic showing air baffle orientation.

This is located on the Pelican site, in the technical articles section. Good luck with the project.

regards,
al

This is how the tin came off my '86 engine, the side on the floor would be against the case.
