Horn problems

So last week I put a new Nardi Steering wheel on my 911. Came with a 2 prong horn button. I hooked the only wire from the 911 to one of the prongs and made the other wire w/prong go from the prong to one of the 5 bolts that hold the steering wheel to the new hub. Horn worked great till I unlock the steering lock. Then it doesn't work. I assume the steering lock, when unlocked no longer allows the steering wheel to be grounded.
So I don't know how to run a ground wire that will to not get caught up in the steering wheel when being turned w/o breaking.
Has anybody had this problem?
Solution?

The Horn Contact aka Wiper Contact must connect to the steering wheel contact's copper rim. Strange that it worked when locked?

They do connect.. That is not the problem. When I first put the new wheel on I didn't have the horn grounded. The horn didn't work at all. Once grounded it worked with the steering wheel locked. Once the wheel is unlocked it does not work.
Also the wipers only work when I turn on the windshield washers. They don't work otherwise. ??#^#%#&*$

Okay, let's try to re-trace your steps:

When you removed the old wheel, you were left with the, female spade for the new wheel and on the car you should have left the wiper switch aka horn switch, correct?

Your wheel I assume is for your car so it should only have the male spade connector.

Hate to write this but you may need to pull it apart to re-inspect or until a Nardi owner posts their experience with the wheel. Was there instructions for this wheel?

None, no instructions. - Crowder told me to take it to a mechanic if I couldn't figure it out.
Yes it had the original wheel on it.

Any resolution? I just had a Nardi wheel installed and we struggled to properly ground the Porsche horn. We ended up with a hack solution of connecting the horn ground to one of the steering wheel screws which seems to be a reliable ground. But it's a hack and there must be a more official way.

Thanks,
Jeff

Isnīt there a horn ring that fits between the wheel an hub that the horn then pushes into. Its similar to the momo.
