Steve.....I'm laughing and excited after listening to that sound file of the no-muffler 3.2! I gotta try that out!! How would one go about getting an exhuast tip to attach to the cat? That is just the sound I need to hear every once in awhile....and it's virtually FREE! Imagine unleashing that fury on one of these youngsters in their coffee cupped Acuras who ALWAYS try and get a rise out of me around here. I've never bothered with them because my car is completely stock, but would love to scare 'em a little with that growl . Do flames shoot out of the tail pipe sans muffler? heheheh

A muffler shop could probably work something up. Or, you can buy a 2.5" header collector from a speed shop and then have a short 135 deg bend 2.5" pipe put on that. For that you will need to weld or have welded on the tip because 2.5" collectors usually step down to 2", so you need to cut off the 2 inch step down and weld on the 2.5 inch. probably about $3 for the 135 deg pipe, $15-$30 for the collector (I had to buy a pair for $30) and then $10-$25 for the welding. Very cheap, but not free. I think I'm going to have my second collector turned into a "track pipe".

I think the guys at www.imagineauto.com were selling some at one point, but they would cost a tad more probably.
