ROW 911SC Paint Code Decal

Before I start laying this out in CAD does anyone know if repros are available? How about a source for the silver foil paper? I'm pretty sure I can determine the font because I work with several graphic designers...

Thanks.

I'm quite sure that the font is a possibly modified Helvetica Condensed.

Rgds.

I believe that is a Special Order Paint decal - not ROW.

I have yet to see these available. (I could use one).

You could print (inverse) on the backside of a sheet of transparency, and lay that atop of foil tape.

Thanks!

Special Order? Really? That's interesting; what's special about GP White?

I'll make the file available when finished. Not quite sure how to reconstruct the numbers on the lower left...

Ha!, I know. Maybe only Chiffon White -or some such- was available that year as 'standard.'

I know that for my 81, the Platinum Metallic was standard for the year earlier Weissachs (1980) but then only available as a special order color the next year (1981).

I will add that Porsche had a whole lot of "Special Order" colors available that maybe were not all that special, but for the up-charge ... and that for even more coin, there existed Special Wishes (or some such) where you would give them a color swatch to match. (among other request$)

Here is yours ( as i wrote to you yesterday - only examples to be seen on open-S shop - any colour-sticker is possible, even the light maroon or more blue printed for the later years):

Best from Germany

to USA without German-VAT = 24,79 Euro + ~3,50 for shipping - so about 37 dollar.

Best Norbert

Is a 928 part number correct for a 911? Seems peculiar, but not out of this world...
