Are the Exhust Studs 8x1.0mm?

I may have the unfortunate need to install a time sert for an exhaust stud. However, when ordering the kit, there are many, many sizes to choose from (including 8x1, 8x1.25, 8x1.5.). I'm thinking the 1.0 stands for find thread pitch but to be honest, I get a headache whenever I have to buy nuts & bolts or nails - the sizing is crazy and confusing.
