So IB searchin 4 a nu projekt an alwaz wanted a 911 Speedstar an found this 1973. Its tha only Tee Top Landau Speedstar on tha planet but its a BIG project and it got no toonz! Its still numbers matching tho with MFI.

Imagine the look on the body shop worker's face when the "RIMZ" are installed for the first time, and it dawns on him he just finished installing a long wheelbase rear quarter kit on a SWB '68 911. Then he says "Aww F it...the owner is probably too tweaked up to notice."

I find his posts just silly. All of the cars he posts are projects from in the 80's when they were more plentiful and much less expensive. His humor would be more appropriate on a different forum where mods like that are still being done today. At the risk of sounding racist I will refrain from saying which one, but the Porsche 911, especially an older model is now out of reach for that demographic nor would they probably even want one.

If you want to get technical, there's not a lot that's funny about writing in a dialect that is not your own to poke fun at a group. Any sense of humor that regularly leaves somebody offended should be kept quiet. Putting your racist interpretation of somebody with very little education and a very easy-to-jab way of speaking on a public forum isn't actually funny to most of us. You should ask yourself if this would seem funny in a room full of black men. If the answer is no you've also answered the question of whether our senses of humor need work or your humor is simply offensive.

How do you get from post 1 to being a racist in three posts down?

I am not from your side of the pond but I am thinking Vanilla Ice not Bubba when I read Players posts.

Last time I checked Vanilla Ice was white (and Canadian). And yes we have color tv over here in Europe. I do not know many Canadians that would be upset with these kind of comments.
