convert c2 turbo into cab
 

Hi
Can you convert a 92 c2 turbo into a cab. If so how much would it cost. and does anybody do this in the northeast area.Can it be done so it looks stock and not a chopped up car. I really like my turbo but want a cab as well.

I wanted a Cab WITH a Turbo motor! In Australia, we never received 930 Cabrio's, thus, I bought a turbo-look Carrera Cab & blew it :D

To answer your question, I think it would be a very expensive conversion because you have to change your windscreen frame so it has the latch points for the soft-top. You'll also need to butcher your rear side panels and fit in the associated motors for the top. I also believe the side windows are a different shape :eek:

I'm not saying it's impossible, it CAN be done, but I guess it depends on how deep your pockets are :rolleyes:

Never EVER convert a Coupe to a Cab. Their basic structure is quite different. The Coupe would require major structural reinforcement to be safe.

Targa to Cab is fine. They share the same basic structure. Coupes are just too different. With Turbo power it would be especially scary in a flimsy car.
