Security Alarm Module - Replace/Repair?

I noticed that my security alarm was no longer sounding the alarm when violated. I checked the horn and it seemed to be bad so I replaced it. It sounds continuously now, so I need to keep it disconnected. Any suggestions on repairing the control module? Can I purchase a new module? I am considering removing the system but since it worked up until recently I thought I would keep it.

My take on it...if you are going to have an alarm system...wouldn't you want a current one?
Old systems might be OK for concours events...but they have been around so long that thieves know them only too well.
A new solid state system with remote triggering...anti vibration capability...and GPS integrated would be the way to go.
Make it hard for the criminals.

$20 for a replacement module vs. $$$ for a current one makes the decision easy. Will try to fix it but don't drive it enough to justify any more. Will disable if this does not work. Would also like to keep is as OEM as possible.

Vance - I'll get the module out.

Check out this old issue I had. Fixed for 8 years now..

Jiggle some wires in there and see.....

My car occasionally honks at me - 81SC alarm
