77 911S Vacuum and Vent hoses, Help
Need some help with which hoses connect to which connections on the CIS airbox and shroud. I have 2 medium size hoses coming from the charcoal canister (top hose) firewall side, rear of canister next to oil filler neck, and one hose coming from the brake booster.
Does the brake booster hose go to the large metal port? Which charcoal canister hose goes to the airbox? Which charcoal canister hose goes to the shroud? ![]() Also where does the small vacuum hose from the cruise control connect? ![]() I also have an open port at the bottom of the WUR. Do I connect that to anything? |

Can't help with the others, but don't worry about the bottom WUR port. It just lets atmospheric pressure into the bottom section of the WUR.

Wur.........
What's the ID number on your WUR? The picture does not show any bottom port in your WUR. Could you post a picture showing the bottom port in your WUR? Is your car a USA or RoW model? Keep us posted.

US Spec car. WUR is a 033 model with a small nipple pointing towards the center of the shroud.

Installed backward........

77Targa, You have the correct WUR-033 for '77 USA model car. However, it is installed backward. Anyway, that won't have any effect on its performance. The bottom nipple should be facing outward instead of inward like you have now. The top hose goes to the throttle body below the butterfly valve (vacuum) and the bottom nipple goes above the butterfly valve (atmosphere). Tony |
