Andial 3.6 engine

Anybody have experience with a Andial 3.6 engine? One for sale and I am curious as to how much it actually adds in way of hp and drivability?

Also reliability, sometimes stroker cranks add some troubles.

Andial built stock replacement engines and engines that had about as much magic as aluminum and steel could provide.

There is WAY too much in the way of variables to make any determination. A complete build list and a lot of details would need to be known to start making a guess. If they had the invoices and the number of miles on it that would go a long way.

There is car for sale in ad section now. I figured they had say a 300hp kit and didn't realize they built each to suit.

If you figure a stock 97+ Varioram engine produces 285 HP,300 HP is a very conservative figure considering it's an Andial built engine.
Most likely a somewhat stock rebuild configuration !

That targa in the FS section with the Andial stroker...300hp...is a wicked sleeper.

No experience with Andial 3.6s, but we have two RS Americas in the shop currently. One on Direzzas will spin the tires above 4000rpm in first gear in the dry on asphalt. It has a porsche motorsports sticker on it along with long tube headers so who knows what the actual hp is.

The other looks entirely stock at 41K miles and has typical 964 dog-slow RPM climb. Two completely different cars.
