Are Carrera 3.2L and 930 3.3L heads the same?

...except that 930 heads have narrower intake passage?

Is it possible to bolt-on 3.2L heads w/o modifying anything? I know that 930 intake diameter would be narrower than intake diameter on 3.2L heads but that could be solved by changing to Carrera-intake later.

This is purely hypotetical question.

IF i don't sell the car and IF i get this job i'm seeking right now i MIGHT want to do valve-job.

This is a plan:

Alternative 1:
Instead of pulling off 930 heads and messing with them, i would buy a set of used 3.2L heads, move sodium-cooled valves from 930 to them, change wear-tear items (valve guides, springs and such), drill second plug-holes and slap them onto motor, together with used SC cams. Then i could sell my 930 heads and have engine that's already "ported" (as 3.2L heads have bigger intake ports).

Later, if i ever get some more money, i would pull out K-Jet and install Carrera-plenum together with EFI.

Alternative 2:
Pulling off 930 heads, changing wear-items, porting intakes to 3.2L size, drilling second plug hole and putting them back together with used SC cams.

Engine sounds OK, doesn't smoke on idle and uses around a quart of oil per 700 miles estimated (i have some leaks that make it hard to estimate it). It's ticking pretty loud but i use quite thin oil 5W-50 (fully synthetic), so i'll try to adjust valves first.

This would be first careful step towards SC-headed, dual-plugged, full MAP-based EFI, Carrera-intake nirvana.

My understanding is that valves seldom need to be changed but valve guides get worn with time. Also, 930 seems to have pretty strong bottom-end that rarely needs to be rebuilt.

Thanx.
