will these RUF wheels fit?
Parts & Accessories : ruf classic wheels 17"
These are for a narrow body 911 What spacers would be needed to fit them to a 930 with standard brakes? Is the offset normally stamped on the rim? - I know it is hard to tell from pics, but these would'nt have been made in many versions? thanks

Thanks Bill, you are truly the 'Wheel Guru'
I was secretly hoping you would chime in! - would the wheels be marked or is there an easy way to measure to be 100%? Thanks Ben

That's a good price on the set, I love mine.
I believe that Ruf Classics are available again - new - from Ruf. Make sure you're sitting down when you read the price... It's worth pointing out that Ruf supplied 9's and 10's for 930 fitment. And the CTR used 8 and 10's. 9J's leave loads of space in an SC rear flare - but when you offer up a Ruf 10J, it's quite obvious that CTR flares are bigger ![]()

All the Speedline rims are marked for size and offset,
may be these have been a bit heavily repainted! Simone |

Are the outer rims chromed or polished? Mine are polished.

Polished is good, chrome not so much (IMO)
It's ok to polish, no worries, wet or dry. Depending of the depth of the scratches, go from coarse to very fine grit and follow up with polishing compound. |

I have 9 and 10 on mine. The 10 rears go on with a replacement Ruf spacer of about 15mm. I just passed by there the other day and grabbed what they told me was the last set of the latest batch. But apparently some got sent to America to whoever is selling there. But anyway, yeah, 8s and 9s fit on narrow body and turbo fine. 9s and 10s are for turbos only and with the required changeover to the 15mm spacer.

Beautiful wheels. I'm hoping to get a 930 set for my wide beast.

When I was up at Ruf a couple of weeks back I said, guys there is always a demand for these. As long as you make them, people will buy them.

Ed, did you need open ended lug nuts or shorter studs when you went from the stock 27mm spacers to the 15mm spacers?
