RWB 911's. ...Anybody ever driven or ridden in one?

I must admit I like the artistic design of RWB 911's. But with the huge tire, slammed stance I wonder how they ride/handle.

Some of the low profile look comes from the exaggerated body work but certainly not all. And the absolutely huge tires with minimal fenderror clearance contributes to the look. In seeing videos of street and track performance they appear to be stiffly sprung but not bump bump bump harsh. And Nakai-San is not shown doing suspension mods...just the body work.

Just curious if anyone has experience in a RWB custom?

Here's a guy building one now. Might be able to address your question.

I like them, but they're so aggressive looking and have such huge tires that I'd feel stupid in one that didn't have at least 500hp under the hood.

I have one. My is a moded 3.3 turbo with about 420 hp. After rwb conversion its night and day for me. Better handling, high speed more stable, huge grip on track and more grip of the line.

Its obviouse really : better aero with the huge wing, better suspension (arogussa rwb spec), bigger tire.

I cant say for the NA one but driving a few of my friends it does the same thing except you loose some top end speed, say after 180-200 km/hfrom drag of the wide body and wing i guess.

Great on track too. I race them on idlers 12 hours and its just got so much grip, you can carry a whole lots into the corner.
Nakai set my to be more street than track because i drive mine a lot but most habe agreesive track set up.
Hope this help.

What does RWB mean?

HorstP 09-21-2014 09:58 PM

Rauwelt Begriff.

Rauh Welt Begriff

I presume he meant to mean Weltbegriff which is German for a "World or cosmic concept"

HorstP 09-21-2014 10:19 PM

It has no meaning in German. But guess that's not important. Even "Weltbegriff" wouldn't make sense.
