Removing chrome from Fuchs

Hi,
I'm restoring a set of Fuchs , they were chromed before and the chrome is pitted.
Any trick or procedure to remove that chrome?

Thanks.

Some type of media blasting......bad thing is the chrome process (according to some) weakens the alloy underneath. Lots of people tend to think it's a bad thing.

I have no personal knowledge on the aftermathe of chromed Fuchs....but it's on the internet, so it has to be true.

This guy has a process for stripping the chrome without media blasting. He re-anodized my wheels and did a nice job.
