Post your location......
It would help if you indicate your location. So a prospective lender would know and make a decision. My two cents.

Can you weld? I made mine from metal parts purchased from Home Depot for just a few bucks. Done several 911 and a lowly 700 HP LS7/968. Took me just minutes to make it.

Here are a couple shots of my handy work. I purchased a good quality threaded rod and a couple matching nuts and washers. With it is the round pipe mount normally used to mount 1" black pipe to wood. It's about 4" across. Welded to it is 2" x about 12-1/4" plate steel also purchased at HD.
Come to think of it I also use my bearing press set. That set can be borrowed from most People Boys. Anyway, if I can do it, any fellow shade tree wrench can to. ![]() ![]() |

Here are a couple more. Now that I look at it maybe it doesn't need any extra parts other than the smaller round 3/4" threaded mounting plate. Pressing out the hub always destroys the bearing so you use the old race to press in the new bearing.
