Mexico Blue RSR 911 4609 076
I have a file for this car which I'd like to give to the current owner. If any of you can help me find that person, I'd be grateful.
This car was bought in Germany in 1974 by Richard Reventlow, the step-brother of Lance Reventlow. Richard licensed it in Nevada with the tag "RSR" and drove it on the road near his Aspen, Colorado, home. He never raced the car, so it was remarkably original when he sold it to my friend Bob Ibbotson, from Denver. Bob ran it very lightly, so it stayed in wonderful condition. In the late 1980s (I think), Bob sold the car, and it disappeared from my radar screen. This week I found a notebook hand-written by Richard, detailing the purchase cost of the car and an extensive spare parts package. It was in the library of my friend Grady Clay, who passed away in June 2014; he maintained the car for both Richard and Bob. I'd like to help this notebook find its way back to the car, and I'd like to communicate with the current owner. Can anyone help? Thanks, Frank Barrett 303/237-0911 fdb912@gmail.com (best way to reach me, as I rarely check PMs) Last edited by fbarrett; 09-23-2014 at 08:55 AM.. |

Best of luck! I'm sure the current owner will be thrilled.
