Thumbs up Porterfield R4S aka Street Pads

Product Review:

Okay fellas, I recently installed the Porterfield R4S, all around.

:: #1 Race Specialist in The World :: »

I have to say, after the 200 miles delicate bedding, these suckers are exceptional street brakes, super quiet and remarkably not too dusty, even while bedding. Every additional mile, it seems to brake harder. No binding and even heat residue. May need to re-learn how to drive

I will post an update after a month or so to see if it is as advertised.

I did not go with the track R4 because they squeal but boy does it stop on a dime on my buddy's 3.2, race car

Jim

Yes, New Rotors, New Fluid, No Leaks

Box says "Kevlar", is that for real or just marketing propaganda?

I was driving my client's Tesla P85 last night and I swear my brakes felt the same :-), top of the pedal throw response :-). I know, I know, wishful thinking, but I can dream can't I?

My 944 race car gets R4 pads, the street car has used R4S pads for a long time now. Couldn't be happier.
