Brake fluid paint stain - too late

Picked up my car this evening from a shop. It was in for a PA state inspection - and it needed rear brake servicing. Only after I got it home did I notice drip stains on the front left fender.

First thing I thought was "please don't let it be brake fluid", but that is what I think it is.

The area is slightly raised and uniform in color, dry, and is not coming off.

What can I do to neutralize it or is it too late?
Will the paint be coming off soon?

Garage
Have the shop repair it.
The paint will peel.
If the shop won't do it call your insurance company.

Dan, if the shop doesn't take care of you, find out the name of their liability insurance company and file a claim against them. Good luck..

Update - I am to bring it in Monday. Couldn't make it in today but spoke with them. They were apologetic.

As far as the site, I had doused with water yesterday evening but it was too late.
This morning the drops exhibited small pock marks, this evening it looks like acid hit it. The steam down the side hasn't gotten any worse beyond the stain.
