Coil wiring on 1975 911 advice
The trigger and ground wires on my coil have a male post and I use female spade connectors for the wiring. After a few months it seems like one or the other become loose. Today on a long ride I noticed a miss when under load going up our many hills. When I pulled over I checked and the trigger (positive). Connector was dangling and I think it must have been able to run by arching.

Yes blue coil. Has male prongs held on with nuts. Is there a racing connector as it seems like a very weak link

Remove the nuts and toss the male spade connector, replace the female connectors with ring terminals, and use the nuts to secure them to the coil posts. Mission accomplished!
