1989 Speedster

I have a 89 Speedster and would like to know if anyone has photos of the correct front valance. Mine came with an aftermarket RUF spoiler and I want to go back to the original. Also need the fender oil cooler and fan if anyone has one for sale. thanks

It's the same one that was used on the factory Turbo-Look cars when they were ordered with the "spoiler delete" option.

By the way, these parts go on top of the regular valance and fog light assembly.

Hmm, too bad the Speedster valance wont fit a 3.2 Carrera. Otherwise I'd be interested.

Wouldn't the front valence be identical to that used on an 89 (or 84-89?) factor widebody 911 or 930?

I think it is the 930 per the parts catalog but do not know the difference between the 911 and the 930 valance. Someone said the only difference is holes drilled in the 911?

Bob
If you looked at the PET and the base valance says 930, then it needs to be a turbo.
I haven't looked at PET to be sure.

Just looked at PET and definitely a 930 part.
I have one but need to see how nice it is.

Group911 thanks I know PET shows the same part number but I think the 930 has holes for the spoiler. I thought all valances are the same shape but different hole patterns for different trims (I think the 911 has holes at the end for the 911 non-wide body inserts)? I found a reference to the speedster as "wide body with out spoiler and the 930 as wide body with spoiler. I could be wrong on all of the above.

In the PET diagrams, they show the Speedster and Turbo in 2 different diagrams but when you compare the part numbers for both, they appear the same. As far as holes, on a 930, the holes are along the bottom and at the sides. The side ones will be covered by the Speedster parts and the bottom ones won't be seen.
Having said all that, I'd order a new one from your local dealer as shipping a part that large to the islands ain't gonna be cheap.
