89 Carrera Rear Sway Bar mount thread repair

One of the bolts like the one in this pic that fastens the sway bushing housing/cap that holds to the coachwork will not torque completely and after a few hundred miles starts to get loose. What is the best way to fix the thread problem?

I placed a SS lock nut there. PO stripped the nut. Yes, so the OEM welded nut and my lock nut fix. It is pretty secure now.

rear sway bar

Draco...just so I understand...you placed a lock nut on top of the welded in nut which is inside the housing and just ran your bold up through both of them?

Yes, I figured having both nuts there will be more than secure. Lock Nut for extra measure.
