What happened to the D-Zug / Kosmal ITB kit?

Don't see it on their website - is it still for sale? What happened?

Is Al still making a kit independently? I'm look for cost-effective ITB solutions.

My understanding, and someone please step in to correct me, is that the kit, even though it was fantastic, was not selling, so they pulled it. My uneducated guess is price.

Gents,
To avoid speculation......After spending considerable time, working with my friends at Dzug, and despite lots of great work and the best intentions, my kit was not selling at the price listed on their website. My original intention was to offer a reasonably priced kit for the DIY crowd that would provide high end features at a price that the DIY crowd (my crowd) could afford. That is still my intention. I proposed alternative ways of offering the kits, all the way from a bare bones adaptor set to the full meal deal at a lower price, but we could not agree on a way to proceed with those offerings and still fit within the Dzug model, which has been successful for them. And although I realize the amount of work that goes into these kits, it made no sense to me to continue offering it at a price that was too high for the intended market so I asked that the kit be removed from the website.

That being said, these guys are my buds and I have nothing but the most respect for them and the crazy good work that they do. They still sell my grilles and I'm sure that I'll have more bits on the Dzug site in the future.

In the meantime......I would be glad to discuss any interest that you might have in my EFI/ITB kits.

regards,
Al

I just about pulled the trigger on one of your kits, didn't think they were to badly priced.
I'd be interested in a full kit less loom and ECU as I'd go for a
local system that I knew I could get dynoed, tuned and upgrades if needed.
Either that or a bare bones kit with a parts list from summit etc.

Al, I knew if you would come to the rescue if I mercilessly started guessing.

Thanks for the clarification Al. Can you direct me and others to what your kit would/could look like? Is there a past Pelican post you would recommend?
