Out of Hibernation(Turbo post)

Boys,

It's been some time. Built a house, had another baby, and started working on the beloved separate garage. Finally time to start dumping coin in the Turbo again.

Just got the new K27, 1.0 boost spring, updated exhaust/less cat . I should be driving today. I hope all are well. I was so excited I had to share. My wife's tired of hearing about it.

The date on the photo is incorrect.

Cheers.

Hey Rich, I was just wondering how things were getting along with your car. Good to hear the parts are in. You better have good belts in that ride!

Rich,

Where did you purchase your K27? That's next on the list if I can raid the kids' piggy bank without getting caught.

I first inquired with Pelican Parts but they had none in stock and the price was high to get them.

I ended up buying from Windward Performance in VT. Some hiccups but overall it was a good experience.

$ 895 - New K27
$ 65 - Billet Adapter
$ 65 - Gaskets
$ 70 - shipping(OUCH)

By far the best deal available.

Can't wait to take flight.

Chris, you will love the K27 with your headers and exhaust. It definitely increases spool up time. If you decide to purchase one, call Stephen at Imagine Auto. He is a really good guy, and will help you if you have any installation problems. I believe I paid $895 for mine. I have personally never dealt with Winward, but have not heard many good things said about them. If I recall, you had an interesting experience with them also.
