911SC stock brakes to 930 front / 3.2 Carrera rear
Hi, hope things are well! Recently purchased a 911SC - and am loving it. However the brakes are shot...
Reading on the forum it seems an efficient upgrade would be 930 turbo front brakes and 3.2 Carrera rear brakes to match. My car is pretty much stripped down and decently light, but eventually I'll upgrade the motor (98mm stroker kit, carbs, 275+hp) and also change it to the widebody 2.8rsr look with 15" rims. Could I ask if anyone has tried the 930 front 3.2 rear combo, and would this cause some front bias - should I add a bias adjuster? Would I need any adapter kits for the 930s / upgraded master cylinder? Many thanks! |

I bet using the site search feature would get you a lot of useful information on this.

Brakes isn't something to rush into. First figure out why your brakes are shot. How old are your soft lines? Are your front wheel bearings tight? Is your brake fluid clean and fresh? Do you have the right pads? There are lots of questions to answer before you drop $6K on brakes.
