Any experience with autopart.com?
I'm having a bit** of a time getting my alternator rebuilt around here. So, I'm thinking I could buy a rebuilt alternator. At present, I have a 75 amp Valeo with external voltage regulator. I searched autopart.com and they have a rebuilt alternator for a little over $100 - sounds too good to be true?
Has anyone on the board had experience with them? If so, positive or negative? Thanks.

If not autopart.com, does anybody know of another good source for rebuilt alternators - Pelican no longer sells a rebuilt version of this alternator.

Had mine overhauled by a local "mom and pop" shop, parts were absolutely no problem and delivered in 15 minutes.
Keep checking around and you should find someone who will do it. Just do not tell them its for a 911 until after they look at it. Lots of cars use these type of alternators... JA
